EA doesn't listen to us only influencers. If this were a group of influencers or an influencer in the community on Youtube or on Twitter they would take action and give us what we've been asking for, since Sims 4 came out. There are mods and CC for most of these things. Your best bet if you want these things in Sims 4 is to find the CC and Mods for it if you aren't opposed to using mods and CC.
If their role is to influence and attract players then maybe EA is just using them to influence people into wanting some things, like new skins, name a cowplant, etc.
