Pictures and paintings aren't fixed retroactively. You can either retrieve them from an older save, if you have a back-up, or you can check a tutorial linked in below post on how to restore them yourself using Sims 4 Studio.

Het vreemde is namelijk dat ik wel de Nederlandse heb. het lijk iedere keer te verspringen ;( ofzo?!
Het oude save zijn allemaal stuk!!! en dat is iedere keer weer zo! Foto's zijn zwart de schilderijen wit!! als mensen de foto's downloaden zijn ze zwart en de schilderijen wit!! Er is helemaal niets gemaakt, maar het blijft stuk! Het is zo zonden van al mijn werk die ik er aan besteed heb. :( ;(

Sorry about your pictures. If you still have the screenshots, you could try making custom paintings/pictures of them. That way they will not be affected by future updates to this feature.
