Does anyone have any tips on having your Sim write a trending blog post? I've had this as a work from home task a couple of times and I can never make it happen. I've tried being focussed, tried being creative, written several blogs during the day and even if I gain a lot of followers from one they never seem to be 'trending'. Is there a trick to this I'm missing?

It could depend on charisma... What level they at?

Every time I get this task I just have my sim keep writing blogs, usually the 3rd or 4th one trends

maybe sim needs to have higher lever writing or charisma. as they get a bunch of followers when uploading a video when charisma is high or maxed out. or try to get your sim sad - they do everything better while sad :neutral:

Also uploading videos and having a lot of followers will help just keep going you will make it the writing skill helps

One of my sims is doing that career - I always have her take a bubble bath that puts her in a playful mood before writing the blog - seems to help every time.

Her charisma is level 7 and writing level 5. She's at level 8 of the public relations branch. No matter how many blogs I write she just never seems to have one trending.

Charisma and Writing are both 8 skill level.
This is also from a Work at Home goal.
Checked in at a couple venues and tried several moods.
"Blog for followers" are successful and gain followers but even with 5600 followers cannot create a "Trending Blog"

Have a sim in this career as well. Playful or happy mood helps. If she is angry, sad, uncomfortable (i.e. negative emotions) it doesn't work.
