My sims have way more money than I could ever spend so I'm not doing this for the money. I take both of my sims who have maxed out their veterinary skill and use them to treat the pets, then I use my one employee to do the cleaning. If one of my sims needs to stay home I have my employee help treat the pets too, otherwise she just cleans. It works well and now that she's almost maxed out on her skills we do pretty decently in a day. I don't feel the need to make treats really so I ignore that part except when I remember.
