Ok that was a waste of time. I forgot I'd changed the type of lot the del Sol lounge was and had to change it back, and when I got the notification I never checked if it was referring to the one in Oasis Springs. As a result, my sim never found out if she won an award or not. Oh well. I'll switch lots in the early morning.
