Take a pet for a Walk

It's under the "Pet Care" menu. You may have to click "More Options" to cycle to where you can get to it. Hope that helps :)

Thanks, but that option isn't there under pet care. Just "ask to go Potty" Give Bath Whats wrong and pick up. When i have my sim tell them to go potty, the dog says he can't go out the door.

Is it fully grown or a puppy?

As I don't think puppies can be walked, you'll have to carry it outside, you could also carry it if it's a small dog, I'm not sure what to do if the dog is large however! (Except walk it).

It is a puppy. The first apratment I had them in the puppy went outside with no problem. I moved them to a different apartment and he won't (can't) go outside. Thanks for your help!

I'm having the same issue, but with an adult dog. I tell the dog to go potty and it says that it can't and doesn't do anything. With a puppy, you'll probably have to carry it out of the building and then ask it to go. Also, the interaction to walk won't show up because you can't walk puppies.

I believe if you're in an apartment you have to either carry the pup/dog or take it on a walk!

Is the door locked? I kept calling my dog back inside and he kept getting a routing area....forgot I had set a lock on the front door, lol.

Yeah, I'm having the same problem. My Sim lives in a regular house, and she has a puppy, but I didn't see any option to take it for a walk. I had to pick it up and carry it outside to do it's business. I think that's what you have to do.

you have to go into pet care and then go for a walk. the sim will automatically leash them and take them out, even in an apartment. i really hope they let you hire a dog walker bc it's really high maintenance. or at least let you walk multiple pets at once because i have two dogs. :x
