Theory: postcard date, significance

I'm curious -- what do you all think the date of 11/04/2019 means for this pack?

My theory is that it's the date when this pack began conceptualization/production. If I remember correctly, horses were found in the code from an update released around that time. Hmmmmmm.... :flushed:

19 hours. We'll find out then. Gotta sleep for at least 8 of those. Take the pony out for a ride and do all my evening barn chores, so that's probably another 2 or 3 hours there. Morning feed is another hour. What .. only 8 hours to fill the time left then?

So that pony in your avatar is actually yours? Because they're really cute!

Yup! That's Mitch the Mighty of House MRH: First of His Name, Tosser of Hay Pillows, Tipper of Porta-Grazers, Lord of the Long Corral, Bearer of the Turquoise Bridle, Master of Horse Cookies and Best of Haflingers.

The feeling's usually pretty mutual from him as long as someone has horse cookies.

In a way I hate speculating, because I fall in love with every idea I come up with, and they can't all be in the same pack (given the past track record of Sims 4 DLC). But on the other hand, if the features I love aren't in the game, this period of dreaming is all I'll ever have!

This rings very true. I’m trying not to get my hopes up but I may be too late for that. And I’ve heard people talk about RDR2 as a great horse game. I’ve been trying to find something to scratch my horse itch; Farming Simulator did not. If this doesn’t include horses, I may have to finally invest in RDR2.

11th April has no major significance in the uk. I was once told the 4th November was the day guy fawkes was caught plotting the gunpowder plot to go off on the 5th to blow up the House of Lords hence why we have bonfire night on the 5th. If this fact is true highly doubt it has anything to do with this pack plus it happened in the 1600s.
  • All this horse talk is reminding me of getting my Sims 3 teens to break curfew so they could hare across the entire world map to try and make friends with a unicorn before it disappeared. And then getting consistently caught and taken home by the police... (You don't understand, officer. I was talking to the magical horse at the end of the rainbow!)

I've forgotten whether the date was read the American way or the way nearly everyone else in the world reads it, but didn't someone on twitter point out the date on the card was a National Chicken Lady day? And the year, one of the gurus said, was down to the post office in H-on-B being so slow (which could imply fairies, and fairy rings, at work for the poor posties. Especially as it was hinted there's a hidden world in this pack!).
