Thinking about a new computer...Anyone familiar with the Omen series by hp?

Wanting to upgrade to a better desktop and I was looking at the Omen. I really want something just to play the Sims 4 basically. Other than searching the net, I only play The Sims. Can anybody help me out here? Not overly expensive or hard to use, I'd prefer. Thanks guys.

  • Omens are fine, but they tend to a bit overpriced, much like Alienware. You’re paying extra for the “flashiness”.
  • Check out Cyberpower PC. They build gaming computers. I’ve been very pleased with mine.
  • Pretty sure all of them exceed Sims 4 recommended specs: https://store.hp.com/app/slp/omen-gaming/desktops

The cheaper option is to build a custom part computer: https://pcpartpicker.com/guide/

GTX is supposed to be better than Radeon for a graphics card. I would recommend buying ahead a 64 bit computer since Sims 4 is going to run on that only.

Here are the spec requirements for the base game only. https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/the-sims/the-sims-4/the-sims-4-system-requirements/

Some other spec guides that probably need updating especially with the DLC coming out this year.
