Those Vacuums Must Be ShopVacs

I am constantly amazed that my Sims will choose to vacuum up the puddle on the floor. In RL, to the best of my knowledge, that's highly unsafe, unless you're using a shopvac, which is specifically designed for it. No shock, no nothing. Seems to me EA missed a chance here.

It's funny how there's "Death by Urban Myth" but there's no death from electrocution by vacuuming a puddle. Sims 4 logic.

I still think the lightning strike should cause a random death. The deaths in Sims2 were on a percentage. I can handle it if a Sim doesn't die first time, because in RL people sometimes do survive such a strike. But yeah, it takes twice for a Sim to die of electrocution. And that's if they carry on fixing the electrical or electronic device while dazed.

I had to stop my sim from vacuuming a puddle, but only because she's a spellcaster and should spell it instead. :D
  • I think they intended it like this because if you mop a puddle it will also clean the dust on the floor.
