Today, It Happened.

In March of 2020 the save I was playing got upended. It's been so very long I can't even recall what happened, exactly. Something about a patch. I just know that Erik Cantrell was reluctant to have his youngest kid, a Toddler, blow out the candles. She was only a Child when the save went kablooey. I have fought every day to get back to this same point. Erik hadn't written any songs, yet that were being recognized by the Academy. But he went to Uni with his siblings, and he married Kayleigh before he went on a world tour. In fact, they got married on stage before the concert that launched said tour. I allowed them to start their family and the only control I took was how many kids they would have. This is what established the birth order I have been trying to recreate ever since.

Numerous patches and experimenting with mods that went wrong, or just my own Operator Malfunction, it's been quite a ride. Sometimes painful and sometimes totally frustrating. It's been worth it. Today, my family is back to where they were when things went awry. Erik is way more successful than he ever was. As of thirty minutes ago Cadence aged up from a Toddler. I am beside myself with joy and wanted to share this outstanding bit of news with all of you, especially those of you who have offered your support through my many trials. It has been 3 years and five months to get here.
