- @Ihavefattoddlers, making sure not to overfeed them as babies also helps with maintaining slim toddlers. Never feed babies except specifically when they are hungry, which you can determine by using the interaction to check on the baby and ONLY feeding when the thought bubble that interaction gives indicates they need to be fed.
Once they are fat, there's not much a toddler can do to slim down other than run around alot, but if that isn't working for you quickly, I think it means they are naturally fat (which is what happens if you overfeed them as babies).
If you are willing to use mods, MCCC can slim them down instantly.
total necro thread...but the rules say if I can help I should...so I did. Hope some of the input helps. Happy Simming! "Ihavefattoddlers;c-16873526" wrote:
All of my toddlers are fat and it's getting annoying...all the clothes look horrible on them and they just walk and run soo slow! I heard having them "round around" for about eight hours can shed off the weight but It hasn't worked for me. I don't' think it's possible for them to be any fatter. I used to feed them if they weren't hungry because I use my sims to make series (like a tv show but made with sims and not publicly shared) so when I had to film a meal scene sometimes the toddler wasn't hungry but had to eat at the same at as the parents. When I figured out that's why they were getting so fat, I waited until the tot was hungry or would put her in her high chair with food but not let her eat it and instead throw a tantrum or cry just so have something to use for a meal scene. Anyone know how to get rid of toddler fat? I don't want to wait until they become kids. I haven't been allowed to edit them in CAS after creating them in CAS so I can't just change the weight. When planning her outfits it doesn't let me change her weight yet I can change her eye size- which I've done by accident many times. I was saving them in CAS and then replacing the one I was playing with the original skinny version of her but then I had to her to achieve all of her skills all over again.
Hello @Ihavefattoddlers
Try typing into the cheat bar before entering CAS
cas.fulleditmode
then press enter.
This should make the weight slider appear.- My toddlers grow up just fine, I let them eat yoghurt or ham sandwitches and stuff like that, not things with fat like mac n cheese. I know some time ago people had the same problem with kids growing up fat or skinny, maybe it's the same issue here? I would look in those threads.
- My toddlers grow up a bit chubby aswell, but mine always eat the little monsters. My sim always cooks a lot of food and they always grab a plate. I don't mind though I mostly let them play a lot and see how they end up.
- I don't think it matters what they eat. They all gat fat sooner or later. Mostly sooner. This system is most def outa whack
- JaiSeaNew TravelerI don't have this problem. Before toddlers some of my kids grew up chubby, some didn't. Since toddlers, I haven't had any chubby toddlers. I've had some really obese townies generated and some super thin townies since toddlers, but they're all young adults and older.
- They seem to do the exact same with me. I was thinking of just changing the weight, but I saw that as cheating, so I had to cut down on the cake and laziness.
- YES!! I thought it was just my sims, but all of my boy toddlers have grown up into pudgy kids :)
- yeah, mine are always chubby :/ I don't get why though....
- I was noticing that my twin boys as toddlers were a little chunkier than usual.. and even as kids, they were chunky.. but now as teens, they are really thick in the middle.. lol.. so chunky, that they formed their own work out club.. and are working in their spare time, on losing some of their weight.. I even had to take out the cupcake maker.. as that is all they wanted to eat.. and it clearly says, that over eating the cupcakes can cause weight gain.. But chunky toddlers, kids, teens.. even adults are ok with me.. gives me more of something to do with them.
