Traits not disappearing after removing them? Bug?

I've changed a few of my Sims traits but I still get negative moodlets from them. I gave my sim the geek trait as a teen, removed it towards the end of teen years but still gets the stressed emotion f...

Thanks for your help so far, managed to get dancemachine moodlet remove, but struggling with noncommittal. I can't seem to add it.
