Twins without fertility boosters!

I got surprised last night by a set of twins since I definitely wasn't expecting them! My first set since I started playing TS4 again and my first set in general that was au naturel. Maybe the game was trying to make up for having the babies' grandfather die RIGHT as they were being born. . . Everyone was a weird blend of happy and sad! Anyone else end up surprised with twins without aiming for them?

    I find that when I do legacies, I usually have 1 or 2 sets of twins over the course of it. I also have my heirs fall in love and bear children as soon as they hit young adulthood, so that could have something to do with it. I've never used the Fertile reward trait; I find one child to be a pain in the butt as it is. But it's fun to do a challenge every now and then. I can't remember if I've ever had triplets before.
