I think they should have gone with selective multitasking like we had in previous games instead of the open system we have now.
Multitasking isn't only the reason as to why we have loading screens. It's also the reason sims stop randomly, the reason we don't have swings, lounge chairs, etc. because it's too expensive to animate with this system.
I honestly don't mind multitasking being taken away the way it is now.
