Some people do. I think those of us who do not, are seeking an option to not have to have our Sims do so.
There's also the fact that the change was forced upon us, not an optional change. The change is one of the reasons I'm putting off the update but when I saw the changed screen in the livestream the other week, all I could think was "Who asked for this?" I personally have never seen it as a feature that people have been requested. Maybe they have in other media but I've definitely never seen it on the forums!
