We still don't have any form of vehicular transportation!

In The Sims 4 we have a closed world. To get to a lot, you have to wait for a loading screen. This isn't any different from previous iterations, except The Sims 3 with its open world. I was bummed out...

Actually there is a form of Transportation in the game. Walking! The sims have to use their legs and feet to get to another places. Unless your Sim is a vampire and has the ability to transform into a bat. Plus, Teleportation is a form of Transportation. Maybe not the most favorable one, but indeed it is.
Obviously we won't get cars, bikes, cabs and the school bus but I'm still hopeful to it. And more than that I hope we get at least one form (or more) of Transportation for Witches (if they are coming to the game).
