Weird world quirks making mayhem easy!
There's a curious little glitch/"feature" in Del Sol Valley, where any sim who wants to can pick up celebrity tiles right off the Walk of Fame and abscond with them, consequence-free. Just imagine someone prying up Hollywood Walk of Fame stars with a crowbar and simply walking off with them! If they weren't arrested (or beaten senseless by a bystander) on the spot, it'd at the very least end up on the news and all over the Internet!
The downside to this, if you can call it that, is that you can't sell or destroy those stolen items...but the game didn't think about what happens when a sim has those items in their inventory and drops dead. A dead sim will take whatever they were carrying to the grave with them, effectively deleting the items from the world.
Which is how three Walk of Fame tiles ended up deleted from Del Sol Valley in my save. Granted, they all belonged to celebrity NPCs, and nobody cares about them. Sims that actually earned their fame by virtue of me playing them got to keep their tiles.
So what other sorts of mayhem have folks here gotten into in their simworld by exploiting something that's allowed by the game with no issue but would be a major scandal if it happened in the real world?
