I put a retirement village on a lot close to the walking trails so the retirees can have easy access to powerwalking and fishing. It's an apartment lot I downloaded from the gallery and edited into a combination of studio apartments and common spaces with activities and a common kitchen/dining area.
I haven't done anything else there yet because I've been on a break from the game. But I will probably add in more community lots at some point when I get some inspiration.
