Also one massive tip I have for hair colors is this mod:

Its just an accessory for hairs and allows you to change the colour of any hair you want! It's not 100% and some colors will look weird or wont work on a lot of hairs but if you play around with it enough you can get some really nice colors from it on any hair! Here's a couple sims I used this on:
