I got Batuu because my nieces wanted something from it, and I liked the CAS for my desert-dwelling sims. But honestly, the pack wasn't my cup of tea. Droids don't work outside of Batuu, so that's a HUGE amount of fun taken out. The missions themselves are often tedious and safe, so you don't really feel a sense of adventure. Not to mention occults are nerfed to railroad your gameplay, which goes against the whole sandbox element of The Sims. The world is also mostly set dressing, but difficult to navigate because it's very big and all the buildings in the main are look exactly the same to me. It's like exploring IRL Galaxy's Edge, down to all the NPCS feeling like actors giving you pithy little missions. Only at least here, it's not overly crowded and a guy doesn't walk around and stealthily control a droid with controls hidden underneath a sweater.
My First Pet Stuff's CAS is basically the rejected items from Cats & Dogs. They're awful. I'd only get this for completionist sake, or if you want the rodents. The rodents themselves are fine, though very outdated compared to later small pets. But if you like small little additions to add some life to your game, they're cute. I like them. I just don't really use them much because
