What calendar events would you like to see added to make the calendar more interesting week to week?

The calendar is pretty bland. I think there should be something cool to do and unique amongst all 4 seasons. What events would you like to see added?

  • I have added my own events and holidays to the calendar. Would be nice if we could truly customize the calendar for each household or even for each sim. Also, I think it would be nice if we could have different tabs for public holidays, cultural events like festivals, school events, household events, etc., Or maybe have some boxes to tick on what events to show on the calendar, it has become really cluttered.

I want to be able to opt out of some holidays especially for sims who are suppose to be of different culture/religion. You can press x but the sims will still get sad for not celebrating the holiday.
  • I agree that a way to choose which holidays your sim or sim family celebrate would be nice. I would also love to be able to add different holidays per world (so Mt Komorebi and Willow Creek would celebrate different holidays, or the same ones but celebrate them differently).

What I would love is more icons, not hundreds, but a few more to add variation.

I would also love traditions-kits/packs from various parts of the world. An icon, a grand meal, clothes and CAS-items, some holiday items (decor and functional) and some traditions to go along with these.

As for any other traditions, I'd love most normal actions from packs to be in the calendar. Hug a parent/child, bake something, visit family members, visit friends, throw a party, see a movie, sleep. I also love the school holiday tradition from LMS to create vacations just for school kids.
  • to me I love to see better planning on the calendar like if you sim is ask out on a date you can plan the day and time and were to meet also I would love a free time pack witch more Festivals and afterschool activities and a Seasons refresh that brings back the
the festivals thims from sims 3 theme like

Spring - In Spring, the main theme of the festival is love. You can find objects like the kissing booths, the love tester, and the spring dance floor. For children, there is an egg hunt as well as roller skating, and maybe some playground equipment and the usual face painting, and seasonal greeting card tent.

Summer - In Summer, the main theme is Summer fun. In this case there are objects like the soccer goal, a water balloon arena, snow cone machines, the hot dog contest, and roller skating with face painting and greeting cards.

Fall/Autumn - In fall or autumn the theme is spooky fun. At this festival you can enter the haunted house, pick pumpkins at the pumpkin patch, join the pie eating contest, have your face painted or take a greeting card.

Winter - The theme in Winter is Winter fun. In this festival you can snowboard, go ice skating, join a snowball fight, possibly relax in the hot tub, or the usual face painting and seasonal greeting
