- mine was a small beachy cottage for quite a while but I ended up bulldozing it so it's empty currently. not sure if I ought to put another little house down or maybe some kind of "mini-park" for island weddings.
- AaronRulz787 years agoSeasoned AceI used to have a little cafe there. In my mind, it was a place where the Island people can hang out, get coffee and desserts without leaving the island. I don't recall it really getting a ton of visitors though. I replaced it with a small residential cottage
- paradiseplanet277 years agoSeasoned AceI just placed the premade library lot that was something along the lines of Mimsy's Cottage Cafe or something in there; it's already 20x20, as if the lot was intended to be placed there should you so desired...
- janyses7 years agoSeasoned AceI have an arcade/voidcritters-themed restaurant there.
- joleaco7 years agoSeasoned AceI have a tiny house on that lot. My sim lives there with her toddler son and cat. She is trying to be self-sufficient as possible and lives off what she grows/makes by selling at yard sales. Her little garden is about the same size as her little house and there is still plenty of room on the lot. It’s one of my favourite households to play.
- simsimsere7 years agoSeasoned AceI built there a forgotten gardening hut where one of my unfortunate sim lives. He is a fisherman and now he also has bees.
- Karababy527 years agoLegendThe Mid-Nowhere lot on Windenberg Island is my all-time favorite lot in the game. I've had various Sims living there just to play for fun and I have used it for challenges such as:
Runaway Challenge
Runaway Sibling Challenge
Room Challenge
Eco Existence Challenge
Just One Sim Challenge
Tiny Living Challenge
I've also used it for several rounds of the Build-N-Share Challenge. It may be too small for some, but for me, it's perfect. I adore all the lots on the island anyway since I love camping/fishing etc. Just being outdoors surrounded by the forest and nature is right up my alley. Plus, it's so secluded and peaceful. I love the sounds of the ocean/seagulls, seeing the float plane land/take off and the sailboats that slowly drift around. The island has a ton of collectibles, a portal to the Bluffs and the sunrise/sunsets are absolutely gorgeous!
In the past I mostly used just that one lot because it is small. For the first 4 years of TS4 I played on a 10 yr. old laptop notebook and it couldn't handle lots larger than 20x30. I can play on any of them now though with my new gaming desktop! \o/
I never thought about putting anything there other than homes for Sims. Y'all have some great ideas though. I've always loved a particular treetop restaurant made with a gigantic, enlarged tree to look like a treehouse with several floors. But I tried placing it once and it crashed my game/computer. I might have to see if it'll go on that lot now without crashing. :)
Happy Simming! <3 - I have a nice little bakery there.
- I built a small modern beach house for a young couple. It's actually up for download on my gallery, ID is same as username.
- ValiantRedKnight7 years agoSeasoned AceI found a little cemetery on the gallery so I don’t have to keep the graves at home.
