What do you use the most?

Now we have many packs what are the things you use the most in the sims 4?  Could be CAS, worlds, items, features, skills, traits etc.

I almost solely play teen sims so I use the parenthood system for manners and responsibility etc.  I use the photography and dance skills on every sim.  I give every sim a digital camera and most get a boom box.  My sims do high school a lot.  I use the simple living lot trait on every lot and order from the grocer.  I use cats quite a bit and I use the trainers from Incheon Arrivals on most sims.  I listen to Latin pop radio a lot.

Otherwise I use a lot of varied things and have different sims in different places but these things come up in almost all my games.

  • My most used feature is actually a piece of cc, Littlebowbub's medieval cookbook with a hunting/foraging extension.

At the moment horses and lightsabers are my most-used non cc features, with many families owning either or both, even when they aren't Jedi or participating in races. It's part of the lifestyle of Black Spire Valley, something to make the neighborhood feel part of the same culture, despite the characters being very different from humble giant crop growers to ambitious politicians.

Gardening and pools (whether at home or visting the public one) are also always present in my saves.

I play on rotation and try to make each household use different things and live in different worlds, so it's quite difficult to say what I mostly use in gameplay. There are some BB and CAS items I do tend to repeatedly use though:

CAS - Cargo trousers from Moonlight Chic, the ones with pocket on one side and trainers from same kit (both for males and females), the female waistcoat from HSY, a tatty pair of jeans from Bowling, the tatty shorts from Werewolves, low trainers and jeans from Grunge Revival.

BB - Radiators! I love them now they can warm the rooms. Yoga mats (to keep slim) and bikes (for fun). Fun goes up SOOO fast on a bike! The 'typewriter' from Cottage Living and the little laptop from Strangerville. And the Super Subtle Saucer Light finds its way into every lot.

I wonder if anyone bothers to use the light switches we were given.

I use everything food related the most because im foodie, love cooking, baking etc. Farming, horses, pets, gardening related things are on my top list of most used things in the game. I love opening restaurants, bakeries, flower shops, all kind of retails so the 2nd EP Get To Work is the best EP for me. Get to Work is huge EP and it´s regaming value is high. I could not imagine the game without that EP. My towns would be so dull without places for sims to visit. Home Chef Hustle Kit is perfect addon to all of that. Then there is Gottage Living and Horse Ranch making it possible to have huge thirving farmlife. Could it get any better? I don´t have many complains. Around this cooking, baking, canning, food recipes, farming have lot of high quality mods to make it even bigger.  I love challenges and Legacies and everything related to family gaming is something I need in all of my saves. My sims always have some skills they try to complete. My favorites are cooking. baking, gardening, animal care (pets related skills), horse riding, flower arranging, knitting, candle making, gemmology, mixology, painting, parenting, cross stich, juice fizzing and fitness/wellness. I love to start single sims life and skill building on tiny lot because the skills will grow so much faster. Lot features are also something i always adjust and do.

    1. Get To Work, EP all of its features, businesses and careers.
    2. Horse Ranch EP
    3. Gottage Living EP
    4. Seasons EP
    5. Eco Lifestyle EP

Game Packs I use and like the most:

    1. Dine Out
    2. My Wedding Stories
    3. Parenthood

    Kits and Sfuff packs:

    1. Home Chef Hustle Kit
    2. Cool Kitchen Stuff
    3. Tiny Living Stuff
    4. Nifty Knitting Stuff
    5. Crystal Creationg Stuff
    6. Greenhouse Haven Kit
    7. Spooky Stuff

And I like the paranormal/scifi theme and I love starting a adventure natured sim on Strangerville. That matches great with science career, Univercity EP and Journey to Batuu. Then there are all the other occults I like. Vampires and Witches are my favorites. My towns always need that town witch with her potionshop.

Occult and Science Related things I use the most:

    1. Strangerville GP
    2. Journey To Batuu GP
    3. Witches GP
    4. Vampires GP
    5. Univercity EP

For decoration purposes, and yes Werewolfs is there because it has lot of very nice furniture and objects to decorate various themes:

    1. Dream Home Decorator
    2. Everyday Clutter Kit
    3. Blooming Rooms Kit
    4. Werewolfs GP
    5. Country Kitchen Kit

Fashion and welness/fitness related things  i use the most, listed here. Mochino is awesome because it brings the photostudio option and it makes photographing more interesting. Snowy Escape has many cute hairstyles and clothes. My legacy sim families like to visit the Festivals in Mount Komerebi and also some of my sims will do the snowboarding and ski skills. Parenthood has huge set hairs and clothes that look everyday wearable. My sims also go to Spa sometimes and most of my saves will have a spa. Poolside Splash adds good variety of CAS for making swimming and summer related outfits.

    1. Mochino
    2. Snowy Escape
    3. Poolside Splash
    4. Parenthood
    5. Spa Day

The Worlds I usually play in:

    1. Willow Greek
    2. Newcrest
    3. Henford-On-Bagley
    4. Chestnut Ridge
    5. Tartosa
    6. Oasis Springs
    7. Brindleton Bay
    8. Evergreen Harbor
    9. Magic Realm
    10. Strangerville and Batuu
    11. Mt. Komerebi

  • I play mostly young adult single sims. I have a few families with children  and they are mostly young adult too. They all tend to be different with different careers and interests from one another, so skills tend to vary among them. I do like to use the simple living lifestyle with all of them and they all do laundry and vacuum their houses.  I use community lots a lot in my gameplay and sims will always be out and about. I do not add big skill objects in their houses, unless it's something they are very serious about, like say a piano for their career in music. For everything else, they need to use community lots.

Since I don't have most of expansion packs, I like to try each city, like:  Island Living, Eco Lifestyle, Seasons, Horse Ranch, Cottage Living, Growing Together, High School Years, Snowy Escape,  Cats & Dogs,  What I really don't like or play is Journey to Batuu and Vampires..... well except for those packs that I don't have. But I do love the music though.

  • I tend to play families, so I used a variety of the packs I own, which isn't everything that EA has released, to date. I love Parenthood, I use Get Famous, as in my Cantrell family, one of the four boys, Erik, is set on becoming a musician. I use University, because the dad in this save insists his kids attend college, even Erik whose career is going along swimmingly. I love Horse Ranch, and the family just inherited a lovely old Victorian house that's been in their family for about four-hundred years. Two horses came with it.

I equip each household with laundry appliances and also a vacuum, mostly the automatic one that comes with Cats and Dogs. I'm about to see if the small mansion I built with the Castle kit is viable for use, else I'll have to rebuild it.  I have my sites on this really romantic building for a wedding venue.

With so many packs I use a little bit of everything. I am rather eclectic and enjoy a little bit of everything.

    Gameplay

Definitely something supernatural in my families so I always use realm of magic and werewolves. Other gameplay I really like is clubs to manage friend groups, visiting restaurants, city living festivals, gardening.

    Worlds

I try to vary and use every world at least once but I do have favourites which I tend to gravitate towards : Henhord on Bagley, Windenburg, Chestnut Ridge and Sulani

    Build/Buy

When I go fully supernatural I heavily rely on realm of magic, get together, vampires, paranormal, crystal creations, ...

For contemporary buildings I use a little bit of everything. I heavily rely on dream home decorator and everyday clutter but have a few favourite items amongst the other DLC.

    CAS

A little bit of everything .

I am the same way. I use every penny that I have spent on this game...even if the EP is buggy.

I love the New Age radio station, Baroque station and The Focus radio stations when my sims are writing books, cooking, painting or even performing repairs on a lot.

Mostly all the above.  With the worlds it's mostly my faves:  Windenburg, Brindleton Bay, Henford, Sulani, Tartosa, Glimmerbrook, Moonwood Mill, Forgotten Hollow, Mt. Komorebi, Chestnut Ridge & even the Base's Oasis Springs.      Sometimes it's: San Myschino, Copperdale & Sequoia (Maybe added, Tomarang & Ciudad).                                                  For my fun scifi it's: Strangerville, Evergreen Harbor & Oasis Springs(Planet Tantooee).                                                            As for Willow Creek, Newcrest, Magnolia Promenade & DS Valley worlds; I mostly avoid them.  Too boring💤.

For CAS & Build Mode Objects, I mostly use my packs & kits.

  • I'd have to say the Parenthood features. I love raising children in game and using the character values and parenting skills features.
