Hi everyone! I hope you're all enjoying the new forum so far. I know I am!! I'm Charla, a big fan of The Sims 4! ☺️ I was going to join on the old one, but, as it only had a week left I decided to wait until today.
I loved lurking on the what happened in your game today thread so I thought would create a new one here.
So what's happened in your game today?
Today in my game I was playing as a character I created, Lauren Lord. She's an young adult, who dreams of being an author and a mom. Currently she's working as a school teacher, but today she had no work, she stayed at home and played chess and tended to her plants (when it wasn't raining!).
I also made this new Sim :) hope the pic works!

I hear you loud and clear, Jac. I was finally able to post the first update in my new game just yesterday, after a decided fumble on the first g0-around.
Having just become the Hero of Strangerville, Jack decided to celebrate by taking the family for a day at the Batuu theme park. They had a fun time pretending to help out the Resistance and even met some stormtroopers. Then home for Hope's birthday cake.
Bryce seems to have gotten himself into something again, haha. My game is never dull with him around 😅
Today was love day in my game, but unfortunately, Brittany (his girlfriend) was busy and unable to come over, so he spent the day relaxing in the pool until something disturbed him. It was a phone call from a stranger wanting to meet him, a secret admirer. I didn't even know this was a thing, but I'm glad it is because it's a cool feature. Being the curious person that I am, I couldn't say no. So, I told them I'd meet them.
At this point, I'm still unsure if that was the right decision or not...
... Bryce seems quite interested, though!
The secret admirer turned out to be Agnes Crumplebottom! Both Bryce and I were shocked by the revelation! When I agreed to meet the stranger, I had no idea it would lead to a romantic bar. We had never met Agnes before, and it became clear that she and Bryce were not very compatible. Despite Agnes being very attracted to Bryce, he didn't feel the same way about her. Since it was Love Day and they were both alone, Bryce invited Agnes to join him at the club to spend time together and get to know each other better. "No one should be alone on this special day," Bryce thought to himself. She agreed to his invitation! Bryce is the kind of Sim who is sweet, caring, and willing to do anything for anyone. That's how I see him, at least.

They finally met at the club in Ciudad Enamorada, and Bryce bought both of them some drinks. They talked for a while, getting to know a lot about each other, and became friends.
They met outside and took one last photo before leaving the club. They would both remember that night for a long time. Agnes may not have found a romantic partner, but she did make a good friend.
Afterward, Bryce drove Agnes home, officially ending the night.
I do apologize if this was a long post just wanted to share what happened to Bryce in my game today :)
Agnes? LOL I do worry about Bryce's fealty. Yes, he and Agnes are just friends, but his 'girl' might not appreciate his spending time with her like that. What if she stumbles upon said picture? What are her jealousy triggers? I'm intrigued about what comes next.
Finally bought a new gaming laptop, after hours of setting it up and downloading all the packs, was able to load the game😁 Waited for the new one to arrive for the birth of their foal, Tornado went into labor on a thunderous rainy day 😵💫 It even struck where she was eating 😱

Storm is sweet!BlueSeaWaves 🙂 It wasn’t great that there was a storm and thunder at the time of the birth! It is nice though that now the name reflects the weather of the birth.
Today in my game, I was inspired to play through a "chill" at-home date. The theme was "spice it up", so my sims changed into their food-themed pajamas, made a caliente pizza, drank hot and smoky drinks, played a game of Woo-Who?!, and ended their night falling asleep watching love reality tv. Anyway, it was very cute, cozy and spicy!
