Hi everyone! I hope you're all enjoying the new forum so far. I know I am!! I'm Charla, a big fan of The Sims 4! ☺️ I was going to join on the old one, but, as it only had a week left I decided to wait until today.
I loved lurking on the what happened in your game today thread so I thought would create a new one here.
So what's happened in your game today?
Today in my game I was playing as a character I created, Lauren Lord. She's an young adult, who dreams of being an author and a mom. Currently she's working as a school teacher, but today she had no work, she stayed at home and played chess and tended to her plants (when it wasn't raining!).
I also made this new Sim :) hope the pic works!

The cupcakes that she cooked for Fall Foilage day look delicious 😋It was great that she had visitors in outfits coming to her home for trick or treating. Happy riding to her and Rusty!
It is lovely that Rashida and Daniel enjoy spending time together and that he helps her with the farm when he visits. I hope that their relationship goes well ❤️It is great that his mother Sara still owns the pub. Omelet is cute! 🙂It is lovely seeing the pictures of her family. Lida and Maria are sweet 💗 I hope that the new school teacher can soon raise up his skills, and be able to teach his students! It wasn’t so good that he had no skills!
Creeper545548 It's nice that your Sims all have a club that they can be part of and congratulations to both Pappy and Rosa for graduating with honors and wish them all the best in their careers.
CuppaPablo Congratulations go out to Wolfgang on his graduation and hope he does well in university even though it's for the other side of the law.
elliebreton It's great that Toby was able to graduate early and my sims and I wish him all the best and safety as he strives to become an archaeologist. One of my 'orphan' teens, Isaias Cannon is going to be Jungle Explorer, too bad he and Toby won't be able to meet up to compare 'notes', so-to-speak. We can pretend though, I guess.
JesLet40 Enjoyed your update and glad that your sims had a good Harvestfest & Winterfest. Poor Uni being misunderstood by the Scarecrow but it's nice that Christmas was able to comfort her 'friend'.
jn196465 It was nice that your sims were able to have another camping trip in Granite Falls without rain this time.
Ellupelluellu Your random pictures look great! Great update! Orange cats are always royalty in their own right! Of course the same can be said for calico cats.
Just stopping by with an update from my visit with Krystal Sand and her 'critters' last evening.
We'll begin with Krystal's first horse, Rusty who is an American Standardbred snoozing on the entry way to the house. Almost makes him look like a 'guard horse'.
Krystal heading home after an evening out at the Solar Flare lounge in Oasis Springs where they held a talent show. She enjoyed one of the patrons singing at the mic. Sorry missed getting a picture of that part but she also used the time to complete her 'Talk Like a Pirate Day' activities.
The next day, Krystal was invited by one of her friends to attend the Flea Market to try out her 'haggling skills'. She succeeded in getting a discount from the 'collectible' vendor.
Back at her ranch, Krystal celebrated Fall Foliage day by dressing up as a Space Ranger and baking some cupcakes for you all to enjoy!
Even Krystal's chickens decided to come inside the house on this fine moment. Krystal's ranch hand, Sawyer Spears encouraged the chickens to say inside for awhile by feeding them inside.
Don't worry Krystal got them out before the hen could start laying eggs in the house.
Later that day, Krystal decided to head out for a trail ride with Rusty.
After getting back from her ride, Krystal had a couple of trick-or-treaters waiting for her. The first one was Desirae Engle wearing the pumpkin costume.
Later, Juliette Vernick came by dressed as a witch, which was fitting since Juliette is now officially a spellcaster since becoming a teenager.
The next day, Krystal & Rusty entered the second level endurance ranch at the Equestrian Center where they finished in second place. Rusty came out wearing this cowboy hat.
Krystal watched the stars for awhile before she and Rusty headed home for the night.
During my visit, Krystal earned the 'Skillful Sleep' perk so I tried that sleep option with her one night. This made her get up as a ghost and practice 'herbalism' on her grill. May have to take her to Granite Falls sometime to get some ingredients although one of the dusty bunnies that showed up in her house during my visit found an elderberry for Krystal after she fed it some dust.
Just a funny picture of Rusty sleeping in a patch of prairie grass just off the ranch. Both of Krystal's horses like to hang out in the fields around her ranch.
A picture of Krystal's chickens eating their breakfast. The little chick from the earlier picture grew up into a brown rooster and the new little chick will also be another rooster so the roosters outnumber the hens by three. Between Krystal & her hired hand Sawyer, the chickens, horses and cows are all well cared for although the cows still stay inside the shed all of the time since Krystal moved into her new ranch, her cows have been stuck in her household inventory. I'm sure the cows will need a good cleaning once that glitch is fixed.

Good afternoon, All. I finally was able to cobble a story out of the mumbo-jumbo my Sims gave me over a couple of gaming sessions. Please find, Alliances Gained, Alliances Lost?, Chapter Ten, over in Creative Corner, under Cantrell Chronicles. My Sims seem more than willing to provide me with story fodder. Got lucky yet again. Now, I have to get busy on working on additional chapters before my Muse goes on strike. She's like that sometimes. . .. 🙃 🙃 🙃 Yeah, she is.
Thanks both of you :) This generation is going to be fun. This is the 16th gen for sims 4 if you count the 12 generations of this family in sims 3. In total we are on gen 28 :D
