Hi everyone! I hope you're all enjoying the new forum so far. I know I am!! I'm Charla, a big fan of The Sims 4! ☺️ I was going to join on the old one, but, as it only had a week left I decided to wait until today.
I loved lurking on the what happened in your game today thread so I thought would create a new one here.
So what's happened in your game today?
Today in my game I was playing as a character I created, Lauren Lord. She's an young adult, who dreams of being an author and a mom. Currently she's working as a school teacher, but today she had no work, she stayed at home and played chess and tended to her plants (when it wasn't raining!).
I also made this new Sim :) hope the pic works!
Look forward to seeing what's happening in your games. X
It is lovely that Jessie has found her special one and that her and Paola’s relationship is developing well ❤️They both look very happy together. It was great that Jessie used her experiences and feelings to inspire her in writing her songs.
Jessie Wylie was about done with romance after the rollercoaster relationships with three of her neighbors (James, Andy and Johnny) and falling into a terrible mess caused by involving herself with the Kimball twins. Lucky for her, Paolo Rocca had been there for her through it all. They had developed feelings for each other.
Jessie felt deeply inspired at their latest Powerhouse club meeting. She finished writing her latest song, inspired by her heartbreak and being resilient through it all.
Once the club meeting was over, she asked Paolo out on a date. They met at the Old Quarter Inn. The conversation flowed perfectly and the sparks were flying between them.
She knew he was the one! She asked him if he wanted to formalize their relationship and be romantic partners. Paolo answered ecstatically!
They then took a quick trip to the closet to consummate their new relationship formally.
The next day, Jessie feeling newly invigorated began writing a new song inspired by Paolo.
She hung a picture she had taken with Paolo were she had previously kept a picture with her ex, Michael. As she looked at their smiling faces, she knew she had made the best decision. All the while, she realized, she'd never been to Paolo's house. They'd only ever spent time together at club meetings at the gym, at work or at her home. He had told her he lived with roommates in a church that had been converted into a living space. This intrigued Jessie deeply so she decided to visit him before work. She took the opportunity to introduce herself to his other roommates, Eva and Jade. They both seemed nice and friendly.
Jessie liked Paolo's home but she couldn't imagine living there with Paolo and his three roommates. Even though it was a spacious home, everything felt a bit cramped.
Sunday morning, Jessie called Paolo over and asked him to move in. It just made sense for them to do so.
That night, as Jessie returned from work after Paolo, she had found him repairing the kitchen sink. Jessie didn't mind fixing things around the house, but having Paolo around to help out was a blessing. She thanked him for his help and told him that this was not just her house but his home as well.
The open plan kitchen, dining and living room is lovely! 🙂The calming natural and blue colours are very nice. The furnishing is lovely. The fireplace area is a very nice place to sit and chat.
