What's a good laptop to run sims 4 and ALL expansions?

So my very old laptop won't play sims anymore since I installed Discover University. I really just need a new laptop because this one is on its last legs. I'm not technical at all and have tried to...

You don't need a 3k laptop to run this game. I have a new computer now, but my 3 year old laptop can run Sims 4 with all the expansions and a bunch of CC on high settings without issue. It was a high-end laptop when I got it, but that was in 2016.

Just get a laptop with an SSD, an i7 processor, 16gb ram and a dedicated graphics card. Any of the new "gaming" laptops will also work, but they can be very expensive.
