- kuhpflanzen8 years agoSeasoned Aceit was willow creek at some point, but i'm so tired of looking at it. i hardly use oasis springs so it is still fresh to me.
plus i can build modern style homes in oasis springs, which are fairly easy because they are just fancy boxes. :#
newcrest is just a blander blank willow creek. - willow is cool cause i can put down the custom houses and it makes the whole thing nice

Not trying to be rude or anything but why would anyone pick newcrest?
While Willow Creek is my favorite I love Newcrest because it's a completely blank slate. I also love the 50x40 lot size and would like to see more lots that size."Funpuppy_sims345;c-16539739" wrote:

Newcrest is a beautiful world. It has a pretty lake and there is a beautiful city in the background in the middle of Newcrest.- Frankly, Willow Creek is kind of boring. My sims all live in Newcrest, Oasis Springs, San Myshuno, or Windenburg.

- 5782341b77vl8 years agoSeasoned AceUntil the release of Newcrest (2017) I was always in Willow Creek. Nothing wrong with Oasis Springs. I even had 2 or 3 families living there. However, the desert setting just wasn't my "cup of tea", since the weather looked too tamed... though I might be able to fix that with the with Seasons Pack! >:)
- Oasis Springs.
I get really frustrated with the prop houses in Willow Creek. They're very... American. Generically American. It's not as bad as any given Sims 3 base world, but it makes for a dull environment imo. The worlds we've been given since have way more personality. - OldeSimsFan8 years agoSeasoned Ace

It's a tie between Willow Creek and Newcrest for different reasons. Willow Creek because it has that New Orleans vibe, I've always wanted to see New Orleans (especially the French Quarter) and Newcrest because I can mold it to fit the theme of my game.
I voted Willow Creek, but like you it's a tie with Newcrest, and largely for the same reasons. WC has a good vibe and it's where I first settled my sims and often do now. I like Newcrest because it's the closest this game comes to a TS2 type world where I can build the whole place in any style I choose, with whatever buildings and parks I want - which usually means Victorian, as Pleasantview in TS2 has discovered.
