What's Your Process for Naming Your Sims?

Sometimes I pick up names after the ethnicity of the sim; i.e. I've played with native americans, sims from asian and african countries and some european countries I know better, too. I try to be respectful and google typical names for them :) In many countries the name has a meaning that I can choose after the sims traits. The traits also work lovely as a surname; naming a hot-headed sim to Pippa Pepper or an active sim to Brian Brisk is fun and also helps me to choose a suitable spouse for my future sims at the public lots when I marry them to someone I have created months ago.
