I'm Chinese and usually naming Chinese name. I dare not create others languages name at will so I use search to naming others languages name. I like Wen Rui'an naming style, his style is " if someone IRL naming this will definite very weird".
Such as my first sims created by myself is vampires Chunyu Yingzi(Shadow/Ying, many things always have "zi" in Chinese)and Hanguang(Cold light, " han" and "leng" are cold), both literal meaning, Chunyu is a very rare surname.
I created Chunyus parents, Chunyu Yin(human to vampire) and Ellen Sharma(born vampire) recently. Yin(阴)meaning shade/rayless/sinister, and it also the black part in Taichi. Ellen has Indian surname but her name isn't Indian, explained why she has vampire ears and pale grey skin tone(Chinese and Indian folklores haven't vampires after all).
I also considering sims characteristic, Yin is a rebellious metalhead and lack of education, Ellen is an avant garde, so theirs children have particular and straightforward name. Yin was born in gangster family, so he has a "seem sinister" name.
