I had a blast while playing my game, yesterday. Not only that, but I discovered that one of the mods, I think it was, that are a must have for the Royalty Mod to work, offers more than merely the waltz, the EP gives us. You see, there are several couple's dances.

Since Erik learned on their pre-Love Day date, that Kayleigh will be leaving on the following weekend, he wanted to spend as much quality time with her as possible. Yes, he's a tad insecure, but artists often are. After all of this time, five years since their first encounter, he all but gave up. Then boom, there she is in the town circle in Verdemar. They hit it off right away.

On Love Day I had them do a Waltz for Romance and therefore all of their dances were for romance. The first dance (a couple's dance) was amazing, I have to say. Some would think they were on ice doing a couple's ice dance. At one point Erik picked her up and with her legs tucked underneath her, he twirled her around. It was nothing short of magic.

There were a couple of times where fireworks went off above their heads. At one point on the menu, Erik was given the option to propose. 😍 Believe me I considered it. I saved the game and then tried to get the camera into just the correct angle for the best capture for that moment. But it wasn't until later that I realized I had him express his desires to her. That soured things a bit. Suddenly, no proposal on the menu would show up. I really wanted to see just what kind of chaos this would have caused.

Instead, I get a popup that read: "A scandalous event was witnessed! Someone knows about Erik's secret. Maybe he should seek out the Broker to Bury it."

Some of you may remember, how he decided to get ahead of the secret, by calling a press conference and flat out refused to pay a ransom to keep it quiet. He also said flat out that he would dance with her again, so why were any of them surprised? Was it the way he dipped her? Or maybe it was this:

Now, I have a few things for Erik to sort out. A, he's also going to be starting University on the same weekend as Kayleigh (although he and his siblings will be living at home), and B, he wishes to spend as much time as he can before Kayleigh leaves for the campus for three years. So, does he bury the secret, or defy it again?

What would you do?

Erik and Kayleigh had such a lovely and special time dancing at the Grand Ball ❤️It was sad and unkind that someone caused him to be accused of a scandal for dancing with her 🙁I think that it may be best to deny it again. Perhaps whoever has done this, will this time learn and not do the same thing again to him or anyone else. It may also make Erik happier that he has stood up for what he believes is right.

Thank you rosemow . I've been playing my game this morning, for a bit. I think I may, now, have just cause for her to dorm over at Castle Cantrell, as opposed to on campus. This will brighten both of their spirits, for one, give Kayleigh some time 'on her own' and away from her family and still have contact with other students, particularly those near her age. She would otherwise be boarding with Young Adults and sometimes full Adults, even.
As for the scandal, the nobles in this game tend to be on the snooty side. Both Erik and his father favor the commoners, and that has upset many of the other nobles. (Since some of them also favor the commoners.) Seems, though, they are taking it out on Erik . . . Not to worry, King Joseph the Second, is a wise man with a great deal of life-experience under his belt. He is also sorting out how to solve the dilemma of these two youngsters in love. Hopefully, their story won't turn out to be one of Star-crossed Lovers. Think Romeo and Juliett and how they ended up. I used to think that just meant two young people in love, found out, not so. Not a good outcome at all. 🙃
