I finally got around to adding the Golden family into what is now my Main Save. I find the changes with HSY amusing on so many levels. In fact, I had to take the Golden family back into CAS to make certain I had checked the preferences correctly. She told Erik, she was still exploring! :open_mouth: I set her interests for men, just as I'd thought I had. She's not experimenting, but my goodness, she's wanting to lock down Erik A.S.A.P. They only just met, he took her on a first date. It was Legendary, and with very few romantic interactions that romance bar is all the way filled.She called and asked if he wanted to go on a date, the very next day, so of course, he agreed. Suddenly, she's asking for things to go to the next level. I've held back from him asking her to be his girlfriend. You know, to allow them to get to know each other a bit better, at least. Again, Erik agreed. I think they're both hot to trot. Somebody reel them in. LOLPlease share your moments of when your Sims seemed to be ahead of you on a track you mean for them to take, but at a slower pace.

I never intended for Morgyn and Guidry to become so deeply connected. Morgyn is unflirty aro/ace. Guidry is romantically all over the place. One is alive, the other…not so much. They don’t seem to have much in common. I introduced them to establish an acquaintanceship for story reasons, and the game turned it into a full on bromance. I’m glad it did. It’s been a fun story to explore.

Matteo was never really intended to be a long running character. He was supposed to have a quick romance with either Danielle or Summer and then mostly fade away. He was also supposed to be selfish, shallow, a total bro. He's been anything but and he was instantly attract to Liberty. I had her hanging out with her friends, they ran into him by chance and romance blossomed. He enjoys activities like chess, reading, and yoga, totally the opposite of what I had in mind when I created him.

Matteo was never really intended to be a long running character. He was supposed to have a quick romance with either Danielle or Summer and then mostly fade away. He was also supposed to be selfish, shallow, a total bro. He's been anything but and he was instantly attract to Liberty. I had her hanging out with her friends, they ran into him by chance and romance blossomed. He enjoys activities like chess, reading, and yoga, totally the opposite of what I had in mind when I created him.

It doesn't hurt to have a romance novelist around either. One that has a gift for spotting the subtle glance, the eyes that linger, and being able to read faces to unlock secrets of the heart. The others may not see it, but she does, and she's not shy about bringing lovers together. She sometimes knows even before the other hearts ever meet.

I won't fire a sim for ad-libbing, but I will fire an extra for interfering with the story. As an extra in my story, you were hired to just hang around in the background and make the scene look...fuller. There's a reason I gave you a nonspeaking role. Your attempts to force your way into a bigger role, or to steal the scene, do not impress me. Go about your business and I will spot you if you have that 'it' factor.

Please share your moments of when your Sims seemed to be ahead of you on a track you mean for them to take, but at a slower pace.

In my latest attempt at playing my Cole couple(taking a break and may delete permanently) after they just had their first kiss, Katherine grabbed Ryan and laid on on him! They're now officially a couple after a year.

ETA: I don't have HSY, and I doubt I'll get it even if I manage to save money for it.

I’m not sure it’s HSY. It seems like all my sims have ever needed was a good first date and they were ready to pick out china patterns.
