Where are the tiny apartments? (pics)

After watching some youtube videos showing all the apartments, I have noticed that there seems to be hardly any apartment building suitable for singles. I mean for me personally why I said I want apartments is to put my single sims, or just married couples in those small tiny studio apartments and save the lots and bigger houses for larger families.

I think I have seen only one apartment like that in the spice district, but the thing is the city they created lacks big time on this kind. The apartments they made are more spacious and big. Some are even two stories. What do you think?

Those who have the game already how do you feel about this? Are there enough tiny studio apartments?

More pics. When I say tiny apartment I want something that barely offers any space. Very cheap but very small so living inside would be a challenge

I love to have something super compact like this but unfortunately this is ideal for an apartment. I cannot waste a lot creating one of these.

If you don't like the premade apartments you can always create your own tiny apartments...oh wait, you cant.

There are two apartments I can think of that are pretty small. I was thinking of renovating one into a studio soon. I'll upload some pics if I get around to it. Your model apartments are inspiring me for layout ideas.

You can shrink an existing apartment by placing a doorless wall.

Not a solution. I need multiple small apartments. And adding a doorless wall will not reduce the rent in any way.

Not an ideal solution, no, and not a solution for All The Things. But if someone's need for less space is their main issue, it's a useful tool.

(As someone who lives in a city where apartments are crazy expensive per square foot - I just saw new stats on that yesterday, and was shocked at some of the other cities in the world that mine is more expensive than! - lowering the rent even further didn't even occur to me as an issue! But that's the sort of thing I throw money cheats at, as for other things when I want my Sims to struggle more or less than game-default financing.)

Regardless of what you are looking for in an apartment, the options are very few. There is not enough of any style. Not enough family size ones that I like, not enough single sim ones, nor young couples. Not enough high-end ones, not enough cheap ones.
Limits, limits, limits.

I think you know the answer to this - the smallest apartments are not particularly small, you can't build your own apartments, so you're a bit screwed.

Not much else to say really, that hasn't already been said. As you know, the game is comparatively limited and doesn't allow you the same level of freedom as TS2 and TS3, nothing much has changed in that regard.

What answer are you looking for in particular?

OP I love your premades there, I used to have an app like this on my tablet, to help me build in the sims.

we do need more control over what we can build but I cant see it happening. But maybe just maybe more apartments could be opened to us later on, but again I doubt it. But I live in hope.
