Where Is the Sunscreen?

I think you can buy it from the beach supplies machine at the beach, but also in build & buy. I even think you can apply it while sunbathing without actually having bought it? I'd have to check that one though. :)

After starting to get a tan at the lounge chair, if you click your sim, applying sunscreen will appear.

That was my first thought as soon as I read about the sun tans. :D

I was wondering this as well, because I got the sunscreen bottle from buy mode, and I can't click it. Its a none-interactive object. Can't put it in inventory either, as far as I've seen. I got some stuff from the beach supplies thing, but can't remember if sunscreen was one of those things.

I don't care for getting a tan in real life, so my sims will probly never get one either :o I'm just bored when sitting out in the sun, with nothing else to do than sit there

This. The sun screen you can buy in the catalog (and not at beach supplies) is decorative clutter only.
You don't need to look for it however because every sim can apply it at will while tanning.

If your sim does not have any look for the little beach buildings where you can buy stuff like supplies - maybe it is there but last i saw the sims carry it on them.

Does anyone know when or if the suntan fades? My sim was sunbathing and she's been really tan for like 4 sim days.

I watched the Q&A-Stream from 21.june this morning. They said suntan lasts four sim days. Sunburn disappears somewhat earlier. But they have not been specific how Long sunburn last in the end.

I was ordered out of the sun decades ago. (I grew up in a beach town.) And despite my diligence in slathering the sunscreen onto my children, my daughter has had skin cancer most recently. :open_mouth: It's only deadly if you don't catch it in time …

Hey, thanks for that. I thought about having my Global Superstar try to get a tan and then wondered if he would garner even more attention, should he get burnt, instead. :open_mouth: I don't know. Anyone care to see a Red Erik? ;/
