- SerraNolwen7 years agoSeasoned AceYeah, it seems like a big oversight. I wish they would fix it. At least for the Spooky stuff outfits, considering they were meant to be worn at costume parties...
- That is one of those mysterious questions we players have been asking since we noticed this that never get any legit answers to, so apparently we'll never know, and the ones with the answers like to keep it to themselves. But I agree - it is ridiculous all costumes are not available for Halloween as they should be. Other wise what is their point? I just never try Spooky Day any more and delete it off the calendar. Bad enough our Sims kids can't go Trick or Treating - they and the other Sims can't choose any costume they want either, so in my mind that Holiday is broken and does not exist.

I'd like them to go trick or treating too ! What I do is I have have them wear a costume, and once the tradition is fulfilled I make them change into a Spooky Stuff costume. It's annoying, adds more laundry, and they don't always keep it on.
Also the kids or teens that come to my sims house to trick or treat wear Spooky Stuff costumes (but I'm guessing it's because I use the candy bowl)..... "Dianesims;c-16983360" wrote:

That sounds nuts you have to go through all that when I cannot understand why all costumes aren't simply linked to the Spooky Day Calendar Page/Holiday. Why eliminate spooky day costume on Spooky Day to start with? That is what I can't understand.
Yep I would have used the bowl too if I didn't decide to just delete the Holiday. At least that works as was designed. Good to know for sure.- You might want this mod.
