I don't hate City Living, I'm just rather disappointed in it. Like Get to Work, I feel like it suffers from "great idea, lackluster implementation" syndrome. It could have been loads better, especially if they'd given us the ability to build and place our own multi-family residences. I would have loved to turn Newcrest into another "city" with multi-family lots. Plus I don't like how certain lots have locked traits. I don't want to play the same exact way for each lot. Sometimes I want to do something different, and the locked traits makes that difficult for me. I don't want to play the stories the SimGurus have set up for me, I want to play my stories. I don't want my creativity limited.
Who knows, maybe as more packs come out I'll find more things to do with City Living.
