On desktop however, I usually place my sims there. My sims tend to be social butterflies and it is far easier to meet sims than in other towns/worlds.
Laptops aren't impossible if it's very fast and has a lot of storage my advice would be is to get a wireless mouse and connect it to the laptop it makes a difference.
