Will Sims brake up if they catch their partner cheating?

So I have not tested this yet. In past games if you came home and caught your partner in bed with the maid your sim would freak and kick them out. Dose that happen in Sims 4? I feel like it dose no...

They don't break up autonomously unless you have some mod installed for that. You the player make the decision for them to break up or not. The possibilities of course crop up when they take a bad enough hit to the relationship. I personally wouldn't like for my sims to autonomously break up or worse yet walk off lot and out of the game forever.
