For a VERY LIMITED time, we had Plant Sims. It was during a "Spring Challenge" with Jasmine Holiday. Of course this was long ago (2016, I think). The challenge lasted only a week, and we've not seen the Plant Sims since! Quite a shame too - lots of people loved the Plant Sims, since they were great with gardens.
The challenge may be gone, but the resources from it (the six emotion beans, tree stump, and tree with plant sim bean) are all still in the game and available without going into debug.
Still a temporary state, but it's in there.
As for werewolves... I didn't see the Sims 3 version, but I do agree that they shouldn't be dogs with clothes.... though being able to distract an NPC werewolf by fake throwing a ball could be funny.
