Nope, I wouldn't accept that. What about the employees who have no experience working on bugs? Should they be fired?

Ideally, EA would devote adequate resources to both bug fixes and new gameplay. New content makes the money, and this is a business, after all. Sometimes, though, you have to prioritize stabilization to improve the product and keep customers satisfied.

Having said that, players will say “yes, I would rather wait on new content” but we really won’t. Look at all the complaints and outrage on here when a world wide pandemic slowed production down. If we want focus on fixing the game we have, we will have to be patient when new content releases slow down.

No one in the sims community understands how QA works.

They do not fix the bugs, they only find bugs, reliably reproduce the conditions in which they happen, and report them.

QA is not bug fixing, stop blaming what is already the most ungrateful job in the video game industry.

I think it would be better if they mainly focused on all the bugs and only released content that doesn't require any major changes. Just more kits with furniture sets, paint, wallpapers, flooring, clothing sets, hair and any other kind of cosmetic items. I bought a few expansions based on the cosmetic items alone and I really didn't want some of the game play changes that came with them. So, yeah, they can make the game better and still make money.

Personally I'd love a carpenter's kit that expands the woodworking items to include complete living room and bedroom sets. Leather bound wood furniture! Gotta have it! :)

-Yes I would actually prefer that because I think game needs that more at the moment than new content

It's not worth it to add new content if most of it doesn't even work

and sure i would be more likely to buy new packs if they didn't blow up my computer at install

-No because there is absolutely no quarantee ts5 wouldn't end up in this exact same situation or be worse in some other way

and i really don't feel like starting same old packs all over again just when the game is starting to get some features ive long missed

I would be okay with that if they also did pack refreshes while they also fixed bugs.
