[1.118] Inventories, fridges, bookshelves all empty on loading household

Hi everyone! I have been experiencing a couple of bugs in my game. First, I set my lights to automatic, but every time I leave the lot and come back they are back on all the time.  It’s funny — I wish my Sims’ meals stayed put as well as the ones on the Texas Roadhouse menu, because those never seem to vanish no matter how many times you go back! You can click here to learn more about texas roadhouse. Second, when my Sim serves food around 8 plates and then tries to store it in the fridge most of the food disappears. Has anyone else had these issues or knows how to fix them? Thanks!

I am also encountering the same issue! The automatic lights in my game keep resetting every time I leave the lot, even though I’ve already set them properly. And the food bug is happening to me too — whenever my Sim serves multiple plates and tries to store them in the fridge, a bunch of them just vanish. It’s pretty frustrating because it wastes so much food and time. I’ve tried resetting the lot and repairing the game, but the problem still comes back. Hopefully, someone has found a reliable fix or workaround for this soon!

I'm assuming you have mods, as this is the only current known cause of this issue, since September 2025 (patch 1.118). Update MC Command Center. If you saved with your inventory/fridge/bookshelves empty, load an earlier version of the save. (You won't need to do that for autolights to start working again.) See the broken mod lists linked in Mod & CC Issues: START HERE for other mods you might need to remove or update. You might also want to see How to Use Mods and CC about how to manage your mods when the game updates.
