[1.118] Inventories, fridges, bookshelves all empty on loading household

Hey, I'm having a problem with The Sims 4. After updating, items are disappearing from my inventory. Mods are disabled. I thought the update should fixes bugs, not creates new ones. XD title re-edi...

Hi all,

We've confirmed that the newly reported issue of items disappearing from inventory is related to outdated mods. To resolve the issue, please update your mods & load a previous save of your save file to recover your items.

After leaving the household (family) or starting new game there is nothning in the inventory, there are no leftovers in the fridge, no books i bought and things a bought, now i miss the presentation board for the university exam....what should i do?

I'm assuming you have mods, as this is the only current known cause of this issue -- empty fridges, inventories, AND bookcases, plus autolights not saving when lots are loaded -- since September 2025 (patch 1.118). Update MC Command Center. If you saved with your inventory/fridge/bookshelves empty, load an earlier version of the save. See the broken mod lists linked in Mod & CC Issues: START HERE for other mods you might need to remove or update, and check current status for patch 1.120. You might also want to see How to Use Mods and CC about how to manage your mods when the game updates. On the unlikely chance that you are here as a console player or had an empty Mods folder when this started, please reply with an @ and let me know.
