Actor career hair and makeup bug

In the “get to work” when you can join your sim to work, there is a task failing where my sim will get into makeup, but then the stylist will stop and I have to eventually cancel the action. It won’t complete the “get into hair and makeup” task, It is stopping gameplay, and the ability to progress to completing scenes. I’ve seen this is a common bug atm, just wondering if there is a fix? 

The “delivery food” action also isn’t working on the hospital tasks.
