Advice/Help?

Hi all, I've been playing the sims 4 for at least three years but only discovered mods last year I think. I'm having some issues so ever since the bug that deleted the pregnacy tests (which I now have back) but I'm still unable to but dishes in the trash/bin or the sink which is where part one of my problem is because I still cant drag dirty dishes into either the sink nor the trash. The second part of my problem is my sims will only cook certain things (the only items I have found they can make is garden salad, caprese salad and faux blt that's about it) but things like french toast and spinnach fritata they'll get half way and then stop, so when I make them resume it they refuse to do it because there is something in the way. I have checked and there is nothing in the way of them making it so I'm stuck on what to do or how to fix it. Any help would be appreicated on how to fix this issue
