I can't get any mods to show up. I have followed the instructions correctly, activated mods through Sims 4, I have located the correct mods folder with the text in and added downloaded modd there, I have extracted the files correctly and they still aren't showing up at all in the Sims, they aren't even showing up on the mod start up screen, I don't know what I am doing wrong and I would really appreciate any help in how to fix this. I have uninstalled Sims already and reinstalled it and that still has not fixed the problem.
Hi @amethystkinn . Do you have OneDrive or iCloud syncing your Documents folder? If so, it might be the cause of your problem. If not, what's the full address of the Mods folder?
Hello, thank you for replying lovely. How can I check if the document folder is syncing on my Steam Deck? Also it is in my Electronic Arts folder & it is correct because it has the piece of text in the file which makes the mods work 😁
@amethystkinn Just looked that up (we don't see a lot of Steam Deck players!), and according to some other players, your path should look like this:
home/deck/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/compatdata/1222670/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/Documents (or My Documents)/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/Mods
Not sure if it's "Documents" or "My Documents", but it should be a folder the game created there.
