Best adblockers?
Are there certain adfly/ad blockers that are best for when it comes to CC/mod downloading?

Not an exact answer to your question, but I use the Firefox web browser. Go to Options | Security and Privacy and set enhanced tracking protection to strict. Also set the send the Do Not Track setting to on.
