The Black bar is still there I really don't know what to do maybe this will help to see what I'm seeing
If you're still having issue with a true vanilla test, you can try a factory reset (that means renaming the user folder so the game generates a new one) then game repair. That restores all game settings to the original ones. If that still doesn't help, please post to Sims 4 tech support.
