  • A creator not being listed here does not make it okay to go ask if they’ve cleared their mods yet. Some creators simply don’t do mod clearing announcements, and others need time to investigate or have no time available. Instead of adding pressure to creators (even if that’s not your intent), back up your Saves folder and learn how to check for broken content.

    This list covers "true" core/injector mods, venue lists, and similar mods that enable others; it not not cover recipe enablers. It also covers mods used for testing other mods and for protection against certain kinds of mods acting as malware. The current version number (if used), file date, and download sources are provided.       • Mods by LittleMsSam will have PlumbBuddy manifests added as they’re updated for other reasons.
      • peachyfaerie is retiring from CC creation. A fair bit of their CC is still available on SimFileShare.
      • lazarusinashes will not be clearing or updating mods for the near future due to some serious computer problems and lost data.

      New Bugfix Mods

      • LittleMsSam – RBF - Change Diaper via Changing Table Fix – for “where changing Diapers on the Changing Table will reset Sims” and “where after clicking on the Changing Table and choosing an Infant the Interaction would get cancelled instead of my Sim going to get the Infant”
      • Bienchen (sims4me) – Climb Mountain Bucket List Goal Fix – Dec 11, CF – “Fixes a bug where Sims were unable to fulfill the climb mountain bucket list goal.”
      • Bienchen (sims4me) – Steam Room Woohoo Bucket List Goal Fix – Dec 13, CF only; fixes a bug so that woohoo in a Steam Room fulfills the Bucket List goal; this will happen even if the interaction itself glitches.
      • Waffle – Bike Cleaner – This mod will clean up areas in a Sims world where bikes have accumulated. Read the instructions. “Put this in your mods folder. Load the area (any lot in the area will work). The bikes will be gone. Then, save the game and REMOVE the mod.”
      • FrequentlyBasic – Captain Whitaker Fix – Dec 31, CF; for the Cats & Dogs bug “Captain Whitaker is no longer a ghost”; see the instructions!
      • LunarBritney – Collectible Menu Readjusted – Jan 3, CF – adds several missing items to the collections UI. See the description for detatils.
      • Bienchen (sims4me) – Chestnut Ridge Seasonal Vendor Fix – Jan 5, CF only – “Fixes a bug where there would be no vendor at the food stall in the Horse Ranch world.”

      Two new mod/CC-support tools worth knowing about:

      • TS4 Mod Hound is an online tool by Lumpinou. It includes a feature that scans your Mods folder for various issues, including missing requirements for mods by opted-in modders (as you might guess if you use Lumpinou’s mods, this started as a project for her own mod users!).
      • PlumbBuddy is a downloaded app by CodeBleu. It tracks your Mods folder in an ongoing way, watching for new issues in it, some of them different from what TS4 Mod Hound does. Like TS4 Mod Hound, it will do more for your mods/CC when creators are opted in. The PlumbBuddy opt-in process for an individual mod involves a “manifest,” so you’ll see that mentioned more by creators. IMPORTANT NOTE: Neither tool intervenes in your Mods folder by itself. No tool exists that can, by itself, find all broken mods and CC.

        NOTE: This is a selected (NOT complete) list. Some modders have a note here to “presume all broken” based on a combination of how some mods are known broken and their inactivity. This list excludes many retired mods, many obsolete bugfixes, and many mods that have been long, long broken. However, it can be a helpful step and save many people from having to do a 50-50. The CC list is very selective.
