simminainteazy Keeping mods working is NOT EA's responsibility. Modders all know this.
For your broken Sims, you'll need to track down what broke. I've not had new reports of broken CC or default replacements doing this. If you isolate the broken mods in a true test (no other mods installed), I'll be happy to report the problem in Broken/Updated Mods & CC
For all others here, household loading is broken by many script mods. Some are updated, some aren't. I'm spending some of my time testing those reported broken to confirm I can reproduce it, and testing others that aren't but that I see as likely to be. All of the ones that test broken get added to Broken/Updated Mods & CC, which you can follow to receive notifications of new additions to the lists.

It's about the FORCED updates... and the fact it crashed my game afterwards. I updated the mods. I can deal with the mods. I am not a newbie and know mods are NOT EA's responsibility 🙄
But being forced to have updates after I specifically disabled the automatic updates is diabolical. That's why its disabled so I don't have to play the game of what mod is broken. Especially now that the game ITSELF isn't loading correctly.... at all from the main screen to the residential world- it just kicks me back to the residential world when clicking on the household....
And I really can't help the fact that your tone seems condescending and rude. Not ALL people are equipped with "your" knowledge. And no actually, by the looks of other comments and posts, not everyone knows how mods work after updates.

simminainteazy "Modders" know this - the people who make mods. I know that Simmers don't. That's why I spend time helping them and have done so since 2015.
I'm sorry you find my tone condescending or rude. I avoid using too much slang or casual talk because there are often non-English speakers here and I think it's better to be really clear. For some people, I know, that formality feels off.
Re. forced updates, that's a matter for the Feedback forum.

Disabling automatic updates is only the first step. To avoid updating you have to launch the EA App and then place it in offline mode. If you do that you can you then launch the game without updating. But as long as the App is in online mode you will have to update before playing. You'll have to put the app in offline mode each time you open it but it only takes a couple seconds.
