I had taken all my mods out (so I thought) and was running the game without them. And I kept getting this glitch with my sim fishing. She'd catch a fish, then reset. So I closed out the game and went thru every one of my folders to double check that a mod wasn't left in.
I had missed two in a folder. Not sure which mod was causing the issue. The mods were NoMoreAutoDrinks and Fogity_HiddenHighlight. I restarted my game without those two mods and no more fishing glitch. So it's one or the other.
