Can't place a pre made sim from the gallery into cas

Hi guys i'm a little confused as to what happened (if it was due to a new update or broken cc) but when i open up cas, go into my library or the gallery, and try to add the household into cas, it simply won't replace or merge at all. I have tried to close the game and try again and it still wouldn't work. This has never been an issue with my game so i'm genuinely so lost on what to do?
I'd truly appreciate any help!

(for context i only updated my game yesterday to be up to date with the 5/28/2024 update/patch)

    Yep haha definitely some kind of broken mod as the game freezes anytime I go into settings and try to turn off cc. I appreciate the help!!

    @Nutellaisfun Try moving the mods folder to the desktop and deleting the localthumbcache file found in your documents folder.

    See if you continue to have issues.
